CINDEX 2025 Meetings ! 🚢

This edition, placed under the theme ” International Mobility and Humanism: Navigating Together Towards a More Inclusive Future “, brought together experts, leaders, researchers and decision-makers for in-depth reflections and inspiring exchanges.

âš“David Schajer, HR Director of the CMA CGM Group, shared a lucid vision of HR challenges in a rapidly changing sector. In particular, he mentioned:

🛟The difficulties in recruiting women ready to expatriate.

🛟The obstacles faced in attracting top African managers, despite a pressing need for diversity and global leadership.

âš“François Chimits, from Institut Montaigne, gave an overview of current geopolitical tensions — between systemic crises and economic warfare — and their direct impacts on international mobility.  He recalled that the latter is now a strategic issue for companies in 2025.

âš“Laura Loheac presented the PAUSE Program, an essential initiative for the reception of scientists at risk in their countries of origin.  She stressed the importance of preserving academic freedom and promoting the integration of these talents into French research ecosystems.

âš“With clarity and humor, Samah Karaki and Albert Moukheiber explored the contributions of neuroscience in the understanding of cognitive biases and empathy.  They have opened our minds to broaden our human perceptions. They insisted on the importance of psychological and intercultural preparation for expatriation.

⚓Special mention also to Amélia LAKRAFI, for presenting her role as a Member of Parliament for French Nationals Abroad, which was very interesting. Thank you for talking about THE SORORITY app (self-help solution for women victims of violence).

Now, together, let’s hoist the sails again for new adventures!
